Color Considerations
Morningstar’s signature red attracts and focuses attention in the financial services marketplace.
We typically use Morningstar red as an accent color to avoid diluting the brand signal. On digital properties, red guides users to the next action. At crowded events, red makes us stand out from competing brands in blues, whites, and grays.
Our foundational color palettes extend our visual language and add variety to marketing materials. We often rely on the true shades of colors, supplemented sparingly by tints and shades.
In 2025, we’ll roll out additional guidance on how to apply the new color palette to marketing content.
